Leofoto LS-255C+LH-30 tripod carbon with ball head

The Leofoto LS-255C+LH-30 is a Ranger series carbon tripod kit with a ball head.

The design without a built-in centre column allows the tripod to fold compactly for transport. The hollowed-out apex reduces weight, while the leg locking construction uses one-piece shims.

The leg sections lock with just a 1/4 turn, so changing the height does not require prolonged turning of the locks.

Pull out the leg angle stop, raise the leg to the desired position and press the stop lightly. To engage automatic locking, pull the stop out fully and raise the leg horizontally until the mechanism engages. The stop then locks automatically as the leg position changes.

The leg tubes use 10-layer Toray carbon with a cross-rhombus structure that increases strength and reduces vibration. The tripod has a 10-year Leofoto warranty.

The maximum height is 146 cm without the centre column and 179 cm with the column. Folded, the kit is 52 cm long and weighs 1.26 kg.

The LH-30 ball head has a 30 mm ball and an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for attaching the camera. The head has a load capacity of 15 kg and weighs 365 g, while the tripod has a load capacity of 8 kg.

There are 1/4" sockets on the bottom and side of the apex for a Magic Arm or smartphone holder.
