Leofoto LP-284C+LH-30 tripod carbon with ball head

The Leofoto LP-284C+LH-30 is a Poseidon Ocean series carbon tripod kit with an LH-30 ball head. It is designed for photography in harsh, wet environments.

The compact design has no centre column and uses a fixed apex. The legs can be spread independently to adapt the tripod position to the surface.

The tripod resists water, dust and corrosion. The twist-lock joints repel water, sand and debris, reducing the need for maintenance.

The leg sections need only a 1/4 turn to lock, allowing the tripod height to be changed quickly. The leg angles can be locked at 23°, 55° and 85°; the minimum height is 16 cm for photography close to the ground.

The leg tubes are made from 10-layer carbon, while titanium components increase corrosion resistance. The interchangeable leg tips are titanium spikes. The tripod has a 10-year warranty.

The included LH-30 ball head has an Arca-Swiss mount and a quick release plate. Its mechanism uses a 30 mm ball, with a load capacity of 15 kg and a weight of 365 g.

The apex has a 3/8" mounting stud, with a 1/4"-20 socket on the side for attaching a monitor, microphone or LED light.
