Leofoto GC-282AL aluminium cross column with rack drive and tilt adjustment

The Leofoto GC-282AL is an aluminium vertical/cross column with a rack-and-pinion drive.

A handle at the back of the column serves as a lock for the pan and tilt function. It can be used as a vertical column, as a horizontal one, or at any angle in between. The column provides precise control and is especially well suited to macro work. The product is made of high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy and is CNC-machined for maximum build quality and stability.

The column provides 180 degrees of tilt and 360 degrees of panning, and the "crank" drive gives high precision. An additional friction screw lets you make raising or lowering the column "heavier", allowing heavier cameras to be used more precisely. The screw on the top platform is reversible and has both a 3/8" (for heads) and a 1/4" (for cameras) screw thread.
