Description

The NiSi Square Nano IRGND Medium 100x150mm ND8 (0.9) is a rectangular graduated filter for landscape photographers. It darkens specific areas of an image, such as a bright sky, while the rest of the image keeps a normal exposure. The top of the filter is dark and fades gradually to clear at the bottom, preventing overexposed skies. The medium-edged transition line is particularly useful for images with buildings, mountains and other elements that protrude into the skyline.

The filter is made from high quality optical glass (not resin) with a nano coating. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image. The filter can be repositioned in the holder to recompose the photo. An additional infrared protection coating layer eliminates infrared light, which can cast an unwanted red color on photos at small apertures.
