K&F Concept Nano-X True Color ND2-ND32 55mm Adjustable ND Filter

Gray adjustable K &F Concept Nano-X True Color Fader filter with a diameter of 55 mm. It offers smooth adjustment in the ND2x-ND32x range (ND0.3-ND1.5) – limiting the amount of light reaching the camera sensor from 1 to 5 f-stops. Made of Japanese optical glass embedded in a durable aluminum frame. It is distinguished by excellent color reproduction and provides uniform darkening across the entire frame, without the characteristic "X" effect, often seen in the filters of the amateur segment.

The lenses in the Nano-X True Color series filters have been covered with as many as 28 coatings, including a special titanium coating that eliminates yellow coloration. Repeated grinding and sandblasting have created high-clarity filters to capture images full of detail. An additional oxidation process prevents unwanted glare. The filters are also resistant to dirt and scratches, there are no stains on them, and fingerprints or other dirt are easy to remove.

The solidly made, aluminum frame has numerous grooves made in CNC technology. This makes it easy to change the degree of dimming and to install and remove the filter. Double threading allows it to be combined with other accessories – a case cap or a sun visor. On the frame you will find a graphic scale, making it easier to choose the right parameters. Hard stop points, in turn, block the filter at extreme values, which also increases the comfort of use. The filter also has a small handle – a scoop, thanks to which it is easier to operate even when working in thick gloves. REMARK! The output thread is one degree higher.

Use

Adjustable gray filters make it easy to work in constantly changing light conditions. They are perfect accessories during outdoor sessions – both photographic and film. They allow you to balance the exposure of the scene in a few moments, eliminating the risk of overexposure. They also allow you to keep the aperture wide open or a longer exposure time at times when the amount of sunlight would require you to change the camera settings to less favorable ones.
