NiSi Cine Lens Athena Prime 35mm T1.9 RF-Mount

The NiSi Athena Prime 35mm T1.9 is a fixed focal length cine lens with a Canon RF mount. Its maximum aperture of T1.9 allows background separation with soft bokeh, while the 46mm image circle supports full-frame and large-format sensors.

The optical design reduces chromatic aberration, controls micro-contrast and minimises changes in field of view when focusing from the minimum distance to infinity. The RF version supports drop-in filters; a clear drop-in filter must be used to achieve infinity focus and clear images. NiSi also offers a weather seal for the drop-in filter.

• 300° focus rotation and fluorescent focus scales in imperial and metric units.
• Standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears for use with Follow focus and matte box systems.
• Focus and aperture rings have matching positions across the Athena range. Similar lens weights allow lens changes on a gimbal without rebalancing.
• A separately sold NiSi 77mm close-up lens reduces the minimum focusing distance for macro effects.
