Description
The NiSi Athena Prime 40mm T1.9 is a fixed focal length cine lens with a Sony E mount. Its 46mm image circle supports full-frame and large-format sensors. The optical design controls chromatic aberration and micro-contrast and minimises changes in the field of view when adjusting focus from the minimum focusing distance to infinity.
The T1.9 maximum aperture enables soft background blur and subject separation. The T-stop measures actual light transmission for exposure control. Athena Prime lenses have similar weights, allowing lens changes on a gimbal without rebalancing, and matching positions for their focus and aperture rings.

- Standard 0.8 module focus and iris gears for compatibility with follow focus and matte box systems.
