Description

The Caruba ET 73B is a white lens hood for the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6L IS USM lens. It blocks light entering from the side to reduce flare and colour casts.

The hood extends ahead of the front element, intercepting off-axis light that could otherwise reflect inside the lens and appear as haze or coloured patches. Its rim also provides additional protection against knocks and helps keep the first raindrops off the glass. The white finish matches white Canon telephoto lenses and reflects more sunlight than black, helping the hood stay cooler in direct sunlight.
