Description

The Caruba ES 68 II is a black lens hood for the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens. It blocks light entering from the side to reduce flare and colour casts.

The hood extends ahead of the front element, intercepting light from outside the frame that can cause haze or coloured patches. Its matt interior absorbs stray light. The projecting rim also helps protect the front element against knocks and rain, keeping the first drops off the glass.
