K&F Concept Nano-X ND8-ND128 67mm Adjustable ND Fader Filter

Designed with the professional in mind, the K&F Concept 67 mm grey adjustable fader filter. It enables uniform darkening of the entire image area in a very large range of ND8x - ND128x (ND0.9 – ND2.1), which corresponds to the exposure scale from 3 to 7 aperture points. The Nano-X series consists of filters covered with numerous anti-reflective and protective coatings. They are also devoid of the characteristic "X" effect, often present in similar types of amateur filters. They do not cause color in photos.

Using ND filters allows you to open the camera's aperture wider in bright sunlight or significantly increase the shutter speed. Their task is to limit the amount of light reaching the camera sensor. They are especially popular when working outdoors, because they allow you to achieve the effect of flowing water and blurring clouds moving across the sky. They are also helpful for taking portraits with a shallow depth of field, and during night shots, they will allow you to capture colorful streaks of lights from passing cars. Fader filters are adjustable – they can successfully replace several filters with different gradations, making it easier to work on a photo or film set.

The Nano-X series filters are distinguished by numerous coatings, the task of which is to ensure the highest quality of recorded images. The filters are made of additionally hardened optical glass, which effectively protects them from scratches, chips or cracks. Nano-X are universal filters that can also be used with wide-angle lenses. Their thin, aluminum frame is electroplated and has numerous grooves, making it easier to operate the filter and protect it from jamming on the lens. The filters are double-threaded and have five control points on their bezels, corresponding to ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 and ND128 values, making dimming adjustment not only convenient but also precise.
