The Irix Edge MMS Drop-in Small Black Mist 1/2 Filter is a diffusion filter in a compact drop-in format for the Irix Magnetic Mount System. It adds a gentle haze and cinematic softness to images, reducing contrast in highlights while maintaining overall sharpness — ideal for portrait work, romantic atmospheres, and creating a dreamy film-like look.

The 1/2 strength provides a moderate diffusion effect. Built with premium optical glass and 18 anti-reflective coatings per side, plus SR (Super Resistant) toughened glass with waterproof and oil-resistant nano-coating for durability. The threadless magnetic mount enables quick filter swaps and stacking at just 5mm thickness.
