LEADER PRO ED binoculars are developed mainly for hunters and demanding users. High lens-speed optics used in LEADER series gives you opportunity to observe even in poor lighting conditions including night observation. ED technology, excellent lens speed and big optical output guarantee best results for observing during the day and also in the night. Strong black rubberized body secure resistance to shock. Model 8x56 LEADER PRO ED allows observing in dark or poor lighting conditions. Its suitable mainly for hunting and night observing. Minimal focusing distance are 3,0 m! The dioptrical setting is integrated into the central focusing. This allows to focus easier and more precisely. The scope body is made of polycarbonate, which secures perfect strength of the body. The unique optics allow for precision focusing from 2 m. ED (EXTRA-LOW DISPERSION) TECHNOLOGY In the objective design, glass with Extra-low Dispersion is advantageously utilised. Upon passage of light through any material, it is refracted at an angle proportional to the properties of the optical material (index of refraction). Due to the fact that the index of refraction of the material is different for individual wavelengths of the impacting radiation, white light is split into the spectrum upon passage through the material. The white image is therefore split into a set of colorful images, which have a different size and focusing position. It is therefore impossible to focus an image ideally without a colorful - rainbow rim, which then has a crucial effect on the luminosity and edge sharpness of the objective. When using ED glass, the color defects are minimised and a nearly ideal image is achieved. These unique properties are utilised by the FOMEI LEADER PRO ED binoculars.
