The exclusive FOMEI FOREMAN series of hunting binoculars is manufactured using materials of the highest quality. All objective and eyepiece lenses of the binoculars are fitted with special anti-reflective HTC (High Transmission Coating) layers. The prisms of the binoculars are coated with DEC (Dia-Electrical Coating). The combination of HTC/DEC coatings ensures maximum transmission of the entire optical system. The binoculars excel in high edge sharpness of the image and maximum overall light transmission. This makes it possible to use the binoculars also for so-called night vision. Thanks to their excellent light transmission they make use of "residual light", so they are also suitable for night observation of game, the sky, etc. Where the human eye sees only a black shadow, details are visible when observing with FOMEI FOREMAN binoculars. The body of the binoculars is filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents fogging during sudden temperature changes and also ensures water resistance (WATERPROOF). Thanks to their robust construction, the binoculars are also among those that may bear the SHOCKPROOF designation. The clear diameter of the objectives is 52 mm, which in combination with the materials and technologies used offers excellent optical properties while keeping low weight and compact dimensions.

<B>HTC and DEC – multicoating</B> - special surface treatments

Every glass element of the optical system of Fomei binoculars is fitted with a special multilayer coating, which ensures perfect light transmission of the binoculars. At the top of the range of surface treatments are HTC (High Transmission Coating – for treating lenses) and DEC (Dielectric Coating – for treating prisms). These treatments ensure up to 10% less light reflection on the surface of the glass elements, which allows more than 90% light transmission through the optics of the binoculars. Binoculars with these treatments are suitable for observation in poor lighting conditions.
