Description
The Byomic Junior Telescope 40/400 is a compact, lightweight refractor telescope for children beginning astronomy. It is easy to assemble and can be set up within 1 minute for observing planets and stars.
The adjustable aluminium tripod has a built-in compass to help with orientation. The included 20mm and 12.5mm eyepieces provide 20x and 32x magnification respectively. Start with the lower magnification for a brighter view, then increase magnification as you become familiar with the telescope.
The finder scope helps aim the telescope. Align it during the day using a distant object, such as a streetlamp about 200m away, so that the finder and telescope point at the same object.
