Description
The Caruba 1/4" 3/8" tripod adapter is a thread adapter with a 1/4 inch female thread on one side and a 3/8 inch male thread on the other. It lets you put a tripod head with a 3/8 inch thread onto a tripod that only has a 1/4 inch socket. Lighter tripods often carry only 1/4 inch, while most separate heads use 3/8 inch.
The adapter is made of metal, so the thread keeps gripping when it is loosened and tightened often. The top is flat and slotted: if the adapter sits tight, it can be freed with a coin or a flat screwdriver without damaging the thread.
