Westcott 32"/81cm optical white satin with removable black cover

This Westcott folding umbrella has an optical white satin surface and a removable black cover. It is suitable for studio flash sets and opens and closes quickly.

The umbrella produces light that is slightly harder than a softbox but softer than a flash directed straight at the subject. It helps soften shadow edges and can be used for fill lighting in setups with multiple light sources. Removing the black cover allows it to be used as a shoot-through diffuser close to the subject for softer, more diffuse light. With the black cover fitted, it can be used to bounce light for a stronger beam.
