The NiSi Black Magic Diffusion 1/4 is a 4x5.65-inch optical-glass cinema filter that softens highlights and skin texture while retaining detail in eyes, hair and other subject features. It combines hundreds of precision nano-lenslets with black mist diffusion to reduce the harsh appearance of digital footage.

The filter preserves natural colour and contrast while adding subtle halation and warmth reminiscent of film. It can be used for portraits, beauty work, interviews, narrative films, commercials, weddings, documentaries and music videos, including consistent diffusion across multiple camera systems.
