Description

The Caruba EW 83G is a black lens hood for the Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM lens. It blocks light entering from the side to reduce flare and colour casts.

The hood extends beyond the front element, intercepting light from outside the frame that can cause haze or coloured patches through internal reflections. Its matte interior absorbs stray light. The projecting rim also helps protect the front element against knocks and rain, keeping the first drops off the glass.
