Caruba EW 72 lens hood, black

The Caruba EW 72 is a black lens hood for the Canon EF 35mm f/2.0 IS USM lens. It blocks light entering from the side to reduce flare and colour casts in photographs.

The hood extends in front of the lens, intercepting angled light from outside the frame before it reaches the front element. Its matte interior absorbs stray light. The projecting rim also helps protect the front element against knocks and rain, keeping the first drops off the glass.
