The JJC F BC49 1/4 Black Mist & CPL Composite Filter combines the dreamy softening effect of a black mist filter with the reflection reducing properties of a circular polarising filter. Not only does it soften highlights and refine skin tones for a beautiful, atmospheric look, but it also effectively eliminates reflections from non metallic surfaces such as water and glass, making it ideal for portrait, landscape, travel and night video shooting.

This filter also offers ND2 level light reduction, allowing exposure to be controlled while maintaining natural contrast and brightness levels. Thanks to the Japanese NITTO TrueColor polarising film, it achieves a polarisation efficiency of up to 99% removing unwanted reflections from water, glass and other non metallic surfaces and significantly improving color accuracy for pure and lifelike image reproduction.
Advanced coating
The lens surface is coated with an advanced 14 layer coating process (7 layers on each side: 6 anti reflection + 1 waterproof), which provides water, oil, scratch and static resistance while effectively suppressing glare and ghosting. In addition, the filter utilises a unique triple cemented optical structure that prevents direct contact between the black mist material and the polarising film. This provides a more uniform and controllable soft focus effect, eliminates internal optical interference, and significantly improves the stability and durability of the filter. ,
