Freewell Magnetic / Screw-in MC UV Ultraviolet Filter 72mm

The Freewell MC-UV circular magnetic ultraviolet filter with a diameter of 72 mm is equipped with additional, traditional internal threading. Made of high-quality optical glass, it is characterized by a very high light transmission coefficient and virtually zero chromatic aberrations.

The primary function of UV filters is to reduce ultraviolet radiation, which translates into a reduction in the effect of atmospheric haze. This effect is often recorded in the background, especially in mountain and coastal landscape photography. The use of a UV filter allows you to capture more detail in the photo and emphasize the contrast of the scene. It can also have a protective function, protecting the lens of the lens against mechanical damage, pollen or dust accumulation.

Magnetic Freewell filters are slim filters with an extremely thin frame made of blackened aluminum. In addition to the magnetic mounting, they are also internally threaded, so they can be combined with traditional screw-in filters. Numerous coatings effectively protect them from water, oil, fingerprints or dust - they are extremely easy to clean.
