What is the difference between the various Kodak manufacturers?
Historically, Eastman Kodak made Kodak photographic film, while Kodak Alaris handled its marketing and distribution. Since the beginning of 2026, Eastman Kodak has returned to the photographic film market directly, ending Kodak Alaris's exclusive distributor role. As a result, some of the same films made by Eastman Kodak now reach the market through two different Kodak channels.
