Drytac Protac laminating film matt UV / full matt 65cm x 25m

Protac Matt / FULL MATTE UV is a deep matt overlaminate film for protecting and enhancing photographs. It is best applied with a roller laminator. The Drytac Protac overlaminate range significantly extends the life of prints.

Drytac Protac Matt / FULL MATTE UV is a matt PVC (vinyl) laminating film, 75 µ thick, with a 25 µ solvent-based acrylic adhesive coating. Matt UV is a professional film that eliminates any glare, with minimal loss of colour contrast and detail. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with high UV protection.

Drytac Protac Matt / FULL MATTE UV is a polymer PVC film with a "hybrid cross-linked" adhesive. This makes it a top-quality choice among films for pressure-sensitive (cold) lamination. It does not cause haze.

Advantages of high-quality laminating films:

• they are extremely lightweight (unlike glass)
• dust and moisture cannot get between the overlaminate and the image (under glass, they can)
• increased wear resistance and complete waterproofing
• high protection against UV radiation and O3 ozone (against image fading)

• Laminating tool: laminator.

Preheating is not required, as this is a top-grade overlaminate film.

Recommendations:

• set high pressure and a low feed speed on the laminator during lamination
• laminate only fully settled (dry) prints; the recommended minimum time after inkjet printing is 6 hours
• during application the overlaminate film usually stretches slightly (typically 1 mm per metre); therefore, carry out the final trimming of the laminated graphics at least six hours later (so the film can relax)
