K&F Concept Nano-X B270 62mm CPL Polarizing Filter

K&f Concept Nano-X Series Multi-Coating Circular Polarizing Filter (CPL) with a diameter of 62 mm. Covered with an additional green coating that increases light transmission up to ≥ 45%. It is made of hardened, repeatedly ground and polished Schott B270 optical glass, distinguished by a low refractive index, which effectively reduces accidental glare and flares.

The task of polarizing filters is to block a part of the reflected light with a specific polarization, so that it does not reach the photosensitive material. As a result, they allow you to capture things invisible to the naked eye in photos or recordings. Their rotating design, consisting of two rings screwed on top of each other, allows for smooth change of polarizer settings, thanks to which it is possible to cut off only part of the waves. The use of CPL filters allows, for m.in, to reduce reflections on water, glass or metallic surfaces. Their action is most effective when the light falls at an angle of 90º, but it is also naturally associated with a slight darkening of the image by about 1-2 aperture stops.

The Nano-X series filters are covered with numerous anti-reflective coatings (multi-coated), and their glass is additionally hardened (HD), which effectively protects them against chips or scratches. High light transmission is accompanied by increased resistance to water and oil – no stains remain on them, and all naturally formed impurities, such as fingerprints or dust, settle on them much more difficult and are very easy to remove.

Nano-X slim filters have an extremely thin aluminium frame with a width of only 4 mm, which minimises the risk of vignettes. The galvanically blackened frame adheres precisely to the lens, while the profiled, trapezoidal recesses make it easy to operate, mount and remove the filter. The filters are also double-threaded, which allows for the simultaneous use of additional accessories or the installation of a cover.
