Coman T1A40 Snap-One Open carbon photo tripod with A40 ball head, 169 cm

The Coman T1A40 is a carbon fibre photo tripod with the Snap-One Open leg system: each of the three four-section legs has a button that releases the section locks so the sections slide out under their own weight. The legs are made of 3K Twill carbon fibre with aluminium alloy parts, the central body is aluminium alloy, and the leg sections are 29, 25.5, 22 and 18.5 mm in diameter.

The working height is 65-169 cm. The tripod weighs 2.96 kg and its load capacity is 20 kg. Each leg has an independent spread angle with three settings: 21°, 54° and 79°. The feet are rubber with internal spikes. The two-piece central column (11 cm and 22 cm parts) can be split for a shorter version, removed without tools or mounted inverted for low and macro shots, and a hook on the underside takes a stabilising weight. The central body also has 1/4" threaded sockets with ARRI positioning holes for accessories.

The A40 ball head has a 40 mm ball, a damping system and five knobs for ball resistance, ball lock, quick release and two panoramic mechanisms, one of which turns the camera platform 360°. The quick release is in the Arca Swiss standard with a 1/4" thread.
