Coman M1 MINI A32 One-Click Lift carbon monopod with A32 ball head, 159 cm

The Coman M1 MINI A32 is a carbon fibre monopod for photography and video with a One-Click Lift system: a button on the handle lets the four-section column extend and retract without unlocking each section separately. The column is made of 3K carbon fibre and aluminium alloy.

The working height is 67-159 cm and the folded length is 66 cm. The monopod weighs 1.63 kg. The column load capacity is 20 kg and the A32 head load capacity is 5 kg. The column sections are 32, 28, 25 and 20 mm in diameter. Three 1/4" threaded sockets with ARRI positioning holes around the handle take articulated arms, monitors, microphones and other accessories.

The A32 is a small aluminium ball head with a 30 mm ball locked by a large knob. A lower knob locks the 360° panoramic rotation and an upper knob secures the quick release. The Arca-Swiss compatible plate has a 1/4" thread and non-slip rubber washers, and a small spirit level sits in the quick-release slot.

The column sits on a three-leg base with 19 cm legs, wide rubber feet and independent locks. A ball joint with a 3/8" threaded connection lets the column tilt up to 90° from vertical, with a clamp and a sliding ring to lock it. The base can be removed so that the included spike can be screwed into the column. The base does not give full stability on its own, so the monopod must not be left unattended.
