Cokin Dreams 1 Filter

The Cokin Dreams 1 (P091) is the most subtle filter in the Cokin Dreams series, creating a soft, romantic halo effect around the bright areas while keeping the central image sharp. Small peripheral lens elements in the resin filter scatter light from bright subjects, creating a dreamy, diffused glow, which is ideal for portrait and art photography.

• The most subtle of the three Dreams grades: a soft, natural-looking halo effect
• The central image stays sharp; diffusion appears only around bright highlights
• The effect is most visible with bright subjects against a dark background
• Best used with wider apertures; stopping down too far creates double-contour artefacts
