Caruba Accessory Bracket with Hot Shoe Mount

The Caruba accessory bracket positions a microphone, DSLR monitor, electronic viewfinder, flash or LED camera light beside the camera. It slides into the camera's hot shoe and locks in place with a knurled nut.

Several mounting points sit beside the camera's axis, helping keep the screen and viewfinder visible. Positioning a microphone to the side avoids competition for the space above the camera and helps avoid picking up hand noise from the camera body. The bracket can also be used off the camera.

A heavy accessory on one side can unbalance a light camera body on a tripod head. Balance it with an accessory on the other side or hold the camera with both hands.
