Caruba macro extension tube set 10/16mm for Sony NEX cameras

Caruba extension tube set for the Sony E series (Chrome, APS-C and Full Frame, version II). The Caruba extension tube set for Sony cameras consists of two extension tubes that can be used separately or together. The tubes contain no optical elements, so you can photograph subjects larger and from a closer distance without changing image quality.

The tubes have a chrome-plated mount and are compatible with Sony E mount APS-C lenses. Autofocus and TTL light metering continue to work as usual, but manual focusing is recommended because the focus range is very narrow.

Ideal for macro photography – every lens has a minimum focusing distance. When an extension tube is placed between the lens and the camera body, the minimum focusing distance decreases. The longer the extension tube, the closer you can get to the subject. This makes it ideal for macro photography or special close-ups.

How does an extension tube work? An extension tube increases the distance between the camera's image sensor and the rear lens element. This shortens the lens's focusing distance, allowing you to focus closer to the subject.
