Description
The Caruba thread adapter has a 3/8" male thread and a 1/4" female thread for connecting equipment with these thread sizes, including use with a tripod or clamp. It is made from stainless steel and has a round rubber support plate measuring 5cm (50mm) in diameter.
The rubber plate provides a broad bearing surface, spreads the load and helps keep the attached device aligned. It grips the underside of the device to reduce slipping during tightening and protects painted or plastic surfaces from the metal rim underneath.
