With the 3 Legged Thing AXIS Double Sling EMBER you carry two cameras across your chest, each on its own sling that unclips. The two underarm straps hook together and form a single harness. Shooting with one body for the day? Take the slings apart and you are left with a regular cross body strap.

Harness

Each half is a full AXIS Sling. The two underarm straps click together and hold the whole thing in place, which puts the weight of two bodies on both shoulders instead of one. Both slings are reversible, so left and right handed shooters get on with them equally well.

Want to travel lighter? Unclip them and use one as a cross body strap.

QD coupling

Each strap carries a stainless steel swivel on a magnesium alloy male pin. That pin locks into the QD socket built into the supplied QD4 quick release plate. Because the plate is Arca Swiss compatible, the camera moves from strap to tripod head and back without unscrewing anything.

Adjustment

Each strap adjusts separately between 45 and 89 cm, so one camera can hang higher than the other. Overall width across your back runs from 230 to 500 mm. How far apart the two slings sit is up to you.

Materials

24 mm nylon webbing carries the load. The shoulder sections are 75 mm wide with an EVA foam core that lets air through, and the wear points are finished in Hypalon. The hardware is magnesium alloy, stainless steel and ABS. The whole strap weighs 412 g and is made in Great Britain.
