Caruba Triangle Split Ring Set

The Caruba Triangle Split Ring Set contains two triangular split rings for attaching a strap to the strap lugs on a camera. They are suitable for straps with a loop or hook and can replace lost original rings or provide a different strap fitting.

To fit a ring, open it at the split and feed it through the camera's strap lug, as with a keyring; the ring then closes again. The triangular shape keeps the strap in position instead of allowing it to slide back and forth along the ring, reducing wear concentrated in one spot and noise as the camera rests against your body.

Periodically check that the split remains closed. A ring forced open by the weight of a telephoto lens can release the camera.
