Artisan & Artist ACAM-317 silk camera strap with traditional Japanese pattern, black

The Artisan & Artist ACAM-317 is a black silk camera strap woven in the traditional Japanese "Sasanami" pattern, one of the best-known kimono designs. The strap was crafted by a renowned Kyoto braiding shop and is sturdy yet gentle on the skin.

The strap uses a wide braid called "Sasanami-gumi". The "sasanami pattern" is also known as the "Michinaga pattern" because it was a favorite design of Michinaga Fujiwara, a powerful court noble of the Heian period (794-1185).

• The leather and hand stitching that secure the strap to the camera are plain black
• Moderately stretchable; can be wrapped around the hand
