Ars-Imago Lab-box 1 module orange
Description
The orange Ars-Imago LAB-BOX is a compact, portable film developing tank that allows loading and development without darkness. This version includes one 135 module for 35mm film. The system uses interchangeable modules and a multiformat reel to support 135 and 120 medium format film with the corresponding module.
Insert and lock the 35mm roll in the module, clip the film and close the lid. Turning the external knob loads the film onto the internal reel; a blade then cuts the film end. During development, the external knob or crank rotates the reel to agitate the liquids and help achieve even results.
- Continuous agitation is recommended and uses 290ml of liquid.
- Intermittent agitation uses a full tank of 490ml; other agitation methods can also be explored.
- The compact tank can be carried in a bag or backpack. Design and prototyping took place in Rome, Italy.
- Film restrictions: JCH 400, Kodak Gold 200 (120), Rollei Infrared, Rollei 80s, Rollei Superpan 200, Rollei 400s, Fomapan 100, Fomapan 200, Fomapan 400, Bergger 400 (120), CatLABS X FILM ISO 80 (120), Arista film, Astrum film, Lomography Earl Grey B&W 100 and Silberra cannot be loaded in the LAB-BOX 120 module and may be difficult to clip in the 135 module.
