7Caster SE2 is a powerful yet easy-to-use audio interface 7Ryms designed for online creators, vloggers, streamers, and podcasters. By processing sound from several different sources, it allows you to mix it, modulate your voice, add background music or ready-made effects. Equipped with a 1800mAh 3.7V lithium-polymer battery, it will allow you to work for 5 hours. The battery is charged via a DC 5V 2A port in the USB-C standard.

On the 7Caster SE2 console you will find a number of ports and clearly described knobs and faders controlling individual functions.

- MIC1 XLR-3pin – microphone input port. The connector is designed to transmit 48 V phantom power, which is the responsibility of a switch located next to it. With the GAIN knob, we can adjust the sensitivity of the XLR microphone.
- MIC2 3.5 mm TRS – input port for the second microphone. The sound level of the MIC1 and MIC2 microphones is adjusted by two small faders on the front of the console.

The LOW, MID and HI knobs – which operate both MIC1 and MIC2 channels simultaneously – are responsible for adjusting individual tones, which is useful when recording conversations with people with low or high voices. The REVERB knob will allow you to adjust the depth of reverb, and the Denoise button will reduce noise.

- 6.35 mm jack – an input port for connecting a musical instrument, e.g. a guitar. The signal strength is adjusted by the INST knob. The work of musicians and vocalists will be facilitated by the Auto Tune sound equalization option, Music only buttons (mute the microphones) and Ducking buttons (mute the background music without affecting the vocals). Using the MUTE button will automatically mute both the sound of the instrument and the MIC1 and MIC2 microphones.
- USB-C – digital two-way port: input and output. It can accept sound from the phone (e.g. background music) or send back the already mixed sound, which will make our stories or live reports on social networks more attractive. If you want to use the option of transferring to the device, you need to enable the Loop Back function on the console.
- AUX – analog 3.5 mm mini jack input port, compatible with TRS and TRRS standards (can also be used to connect a smartphone). We can also use a Bluetooth connection to send sound to the device. The Bluetooth module switch can be found on the back, next to the mixer switch. The sound added to the device – regardless of which port we use – can be amplified with the AUX knob.

The sound in 7Caster SE2 can also be creatively modified. There are twelve options: six of them convert the voice into "children's" or "electric", and another six add the appropriate reverb, as in a stage space or a large exhibition hall. Singers can also modify the tone of their voice in twelve steps with the Electron option – effects from A to Ab allow them to easily tune to their repertoire. All changes can be quickly muted with the Dry Sound button, obtaining a clear, original sound.

The OUT knob located at the top of the console allows you to adjust the sensitivity of all signal sources at once. If, on the other hand, we want to diversify our materials with specific effects, 7Caster SE2 offers four presets (Applause, Cheering, Laughter, Funny) and four slots to create your own. The level of effects – their volume – is adjusted using the SOUNDPAD knob. The ready, mixed material can be sent further – not only to a smartphone. The 3.5 mm TRRS OUT1 and OUT2 mini jack ports will be used to communicate with a computer, and the 3.5 mm TRS SPK (Speaker) mini jack port for an external speaker.

The last feature of the 7Caster SE2 is the ability to conduct live monitoring by two operators at the same time – on the front of the console there are two 3.5 mm headphone ports. The listening volume is adjusted using a large knob with a headphone symbol.
